That’s WY winter campaign launched in two segments, we started with an increased focus on a high-intent paid search campaign in October 2020 – February 2021. We then launched a social campaign in January 2021 – February 2021. The campaign’s objective is to increase awareness of Wyoming as a winter destination and drive consumers to TravelWyoming.com.
Winter planning faced some challenges and considerations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The campaign media was planned to be flexible due to a world of uncertainty. Due to trends showing travelers are more comfortable staying too close to home vs flying, we capitalized on increased interest in Wyoming as a top winter road trip destination. The Winter Campaign will be promoted nationally with search, social (Facebook and Pinterest, and high-impact units to increase reach with a qualified audience. There will be an additional focus in San Francisco, Minnesota, Dallas, Denver, and Salt Lake City. Overall the campaign will have an estimated 14M impressions.
