2024 Wyoming Governor’s Hospitality & Tourism
Convention

The 2024 Wyoming Governor’s Hospitality and Tourism Convention (Gov Con) is officially in the rearview mirror. We extend a heartfelt thanks to our industry partners, vendors and sponsors for their invaluable contributions to this year's success. With approximately 190 full attendees and maximum capacity dinner participation, Gov Con was filled with diverse members from the largest private employer sector of the state. During the three-day convention, the vibrant engagement of the rising generation was showcased through the ProStart competition. Our sessions – ranging from revolutionizing social media to capitalizing on family travel – featured top speakers in their fields. All presentation decks are available on the Gov Con website. Thank you to all who made Gov Con 2024 a memorable and impactful event for our entire state.

What is your favorite place in Wyoming and why?
My father took me to Grand Teton when I was 10 and it inspired a lifelong passion for nature and the outdoors.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Outside of work, I am always with my wife, Anelise and our dog, Goose. We love traveling, cooking, live music, doing crosswords and being outside. There is always music playing in our house, and I make pop art cartoons to unwind at the end of the day.

What is your biggest personality/professional strength?
Leadership and effective communication.
