WOT Attends Calgary Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show

Glenn Gardner – strategic partnerships manager with the Wyoming Office of Tourism had the opportunity to travel to Calgary, AB, Canada to attend the Calgary Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show. This show allows outdoor enthusiasts the ability to speak directly with companies and organizations that deal directly within the outdoor recreation and tourism industry. Over the two days of the show, WOT was able to have many meaningful conversations with prospective visitors and share our state with thousands of attendees from all over the world. Many of the conversations between attendees and WOT revolved around Wyoming’s national parks, something that many folks were already interested in and, after the conversations, were already considering trips this summer to Wyoming. Road trip guides were available with the WOT booth and most of the available guides were gone by early in the second day of the show. WOT is excited for the opportunity towards more engagement from the largest source market of the United States.
