  • Mark Your Calendars: 2023 Governor’s & Hospitality & Tourism Convention

    Register to join us in Cheyenne on January 29-31, 2023. Registration for the 2023 Governor’s Hospitality & Tourism Convention is now open!This year’s convention has a fresh look and an exciting addition.

  • Case Study with Madden Media

    WOT’s website improves the chances of your listing and event information being found on search engines results. Specifically, partners are more likely to be found on Google Search Results Pages, if they have a listing or event in the WOT Partner Portal.In this case study we discovered the following:     Since January 1, 2022, travelwyoming.com has generated over 75,000 organic sessions for partners    Over 1,200 queries showing up on the first page of Google within the past 3 months    Visibility on Google means increasing visibility for your destination Helpful Hints:    Partners that saw the most benefit had descriptive images with alt text, helpful descriptions, and           links to social media platforms    Upload your events through the Partner Portal to qualify for Google’s Event Rich Snippets and voice            search.

  • New Customized County Reporting Dashboards – Now Available

    Wyoming Office of Tourism provides industry partners with a summary of each county’s key metrics to inform stakeholders of the overall impact of tourism on our economy. The insights within the Quarterly Report give an overview of where we are today and where we are heading to efficiently and effectively guide organizations to steward powerful, data-led decision-making toward a better visitor experience and resident quality of life.

    Back by popular demand, each partner will work with Madden to help the campaign management team better understand each of the goals of the individual partners. Once strategy is understood, Madden will put together a Google Ads campaign that will focus on keywords and ad copy to reach potential travelers and move them closer to conversion.
