“Do what you love and love what you do.” With a passion and zest for all things Wyoming, Diane has found the perfect opportunity to live out her mantra in her role as Executive Director for the Wyoming Office of Tourism. Diane has an extensive background in the travel and tourism industry, including hotel sales, event marketing and management, facility management, government relations and association management. Fueled by wanderlust, you’ll find Diane seeking new adventures in interesting destinations, enjoying the company of good friends and topping it all off with a delicious glass of wine.
Angelina began her career with the Wyoming Office of Tourism about 20 years ago as a temp and has worked within many areas of the organization including customer service and accounting to project management in travel trade and the brand studio. Ang loves working with and helping people and believes in bringing out the best in each other. This is an opportunity she gets every day in her current role at the Wyoming Office of Tourism. A native to Wyoming she loves running in the clean mountain air, family, laughing and would love to visit the sparkling rolling hills of Yellowstone National park every winter if she could.
Dionne enjoys learning! Moving from the private sector to a state agency gave her the opportunity to experience accounting from different perspectives. She has a degree in accounting and business management, which enable her to use education and experiences to continue growing in her career. During her free time, Dionne loves taking runs, baking treats and reading good books.
Kristy Simola comes from an advertising and accounting background. She enjoys working at the Wyoming Office of Tourism because of the people and their dedication not only to their jobs, but also to Wyoming! Her favorite place when not working is her husband’s family ranch; it is peaceful and relaxing.

Jeanett has worked with people both as a teacher and in the retail world. She enjoys family, friends, gardening and books. At the Wyoming Office of Tourism, Jeanett loves all of the wonderful people.
Sherry has lived in Wyoming for over 30 years. Sherry likes promoting and representing the beautiful state of Wyoming. Her favorite spot in Wyoming is the Aladdin General Store.
Michell began her tourism career finding the perfect backdrops and scenic locations for projects including Modern Family, Starship Troopers, Flicka and Django Unchained. Michell transitioned her marketing strategy skills to overseeing the Wyoming Office of Tourism’s Brand Studio which includes the Brand Integration, Communications & Content, and PR & Media programs. She is an adventure seeker and looks for experiences that connect her to other people and places. Examples include exploring unknown destinations, re-energizing with outdoor activities and supporting the arts.
Sara Borgerding is a native to Wyoming, born in Cheyenne. Her background in digital design brought her to the Brand Studio team. When she is not working, Sara is a mother, wife and creator of crafty things. She enjoys bike/hiking trails in the Snowy Range and a nice relaxing soak in the Hobo Hot Springs in Saratoga.
Piper graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and minors in public relations and marketing. Outside of work, you can find Piper hiking with her rescue dog, baking anything with pumpkin and binge-watching Friends. She loves grabbing a bite at Dash Inn and walking the Historic Main Street in Buffalo, Wyoming!
Alexis “Lexi” Mitchell creates content for the Wyoming Office of Tourism’s social media accounts and PR efforts. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She enjoys visiting new places and camping with her family in the Wyoming wilderness. She loves floating the Green River during the summer and exploring the Red Desert between Rock Springs and Rawlins.
The Wyoming Office of Tourism is a place for opportunity according to Becky. She loves to travel and experience the unknown. Becky enjoys spending time with her kids, but when she gets a free day from her kids’ activities, Becky enjoys riding her road bike. She has ridden her bike across Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas and South Dakota. There is no better way to see the state than on a bike, allowing riders to smell the air, hear the sounds and taste a few bugs here and there.
New to the tourism industry, Blake brings web expertise from a variety of other industries. Blake began working on websites 12 years ago and enjoys her career. The friendly people who run the Wyoming Office of Tourism make work enjoyable, productive and fulfilling. In her job, Blake is also pleased to be able to create and try new things out for the website! While Blake is not working, she enjoys spending most of her time visiting micro breweries with her family. In addition to seeking out new beer to try, Blake and her husband brew their own beer at home.
A local fixture in the photographic community, Keith enjoys capturing anything he can point a camera at. After running his own business for the past 15 years, Keith began looking for a chance to be part of something meaningful, something that matters. Sharing Wyoming with the world fit that bill, and Keith is excited for the challenges and opportunities that joining the folks at the Wyoming Office of Tourism offers. When he’s not working Keith is an avid bowler, joining leagues and tournaments when he can, and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
Haley Freeman loves Wyoming because if you ever need to get away, adventure is not far. She is a lover of traveling and experiencing different places and things to do. She enjoys getting to know new people and finding ways we can all work together to promote our wonderful state.
A native of Michigan, James hung his Wyoming-loving hat in the Cowboy State for the last 15 years. Over his career, James has had the opportunity to oversee marketing efforts in multiple countries around the world and built a strong resource network. In his free time, James enjoys exploring the world with his wife and friends as he continues to discover new destinations both in his Wyoming backyard and abroad. In his Wyoming backyard, James loves backcountry hikes, Cirque of the Towers, Teton Crest Trail and Bechler Area (YNP) to name a few locations.
Jim has a well rounded background in marketing, management, and planning. He likes the tourism industry and being able to represent the state of Wyoming. Aside from grabbing a beverage or two with friends, Jim enjoys snowboarding in the winter months and rock climbing during Wyoming’s many beautiful days. Jim believes Vedauwoo has some great climbing routes, unknown to most!
Amy is the fourth generation to call Wyoming home, and the third generation to graduate from the University of Wyoming, Wyoming is Amy’s home. She also holds a Masters of Tourism Management degree from Colorado State University. She embraces the opportunity to share with others all that Wyoming has to offer. From its iconic national parks, amazing scenery, incredible outdoor experiences, fascinating history and Western Hospitality, to her, there is nothing better than inviting visitors to her “home”.
Glenn grew up in Laramie giving him a passion for the town and UW Football Games. He discovered a love for golf after his time competing in the college rodeo circuit. During the warmer weather, you can find him enjoying the beautiful scenery and spending time with friends and family. He enjoys meeting new people and creating relationships with people from all walks of life.
Sarah Reed was born in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Buffalo, Wyoming in high school. She attended the University of Wyoming where she received her bachelors degree in Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Management with a concentration in Business Hospitality Management and a minor in Hospitality Business Management. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys a wide variety of hobbies including outdoor recreation, crafting, playing games, spending quality time with friends/family, and many more!
