Wyoming Tourism Board

Vision

The Wyoming Tourism Board is the leading proponent of the state’s tourism/hospitality industry. We provide governance and policy oversight for the Wyoming Office of Tourism.

Members

The Wyoming Tourism Board is composed of nine dedicated members who represent a diverse selection of the state’s travel and tourism industry. Appointments to the Wyoming Tourism Board are made by the Governor of Wyoming, with the consent of the Wyoming Senate, the board includes six district representatives and three at-large members to ensure statewide representation. All members should be employed in or associated closely with the travel industry.

Meetings

The Wyoming Tourism Board meets on a bi-monthly basis, either in person at various locations across the state or virtually to ensure accessibility. All meetings are open to the public, encouraging community involvement and transparency.

Appointments to the Wyoming Tourism Board are made by the Governor of Wyoming, with the consent of the Wyoming Senate, who selects individuals committed to advancing the state's tourism industry. To be considered, applicants may apply by submitting a cover letter, resume, and completed application through the Governor’s Boards and Commissions process. Board members serve a term of three years and may be reappointed for one additional consecutive term, ensuring a healthy balance of continuity and fresh perspectives.
