Wyoming continues to be a popular destination with the group travel industry with more and more companies exploring opportunities that are unique, showcase western hospitality and create lasting memories outside of just our National Parks.

NTA Contact is a retreat for tour operators and themes emerged around ideas for adding value to a group destination, the importance of tour companies connecting with local DMO’s, the emerging trend in Dark Tourism and building stronger relationships between buyers and suppliers. The Wyoming Office of Tourism was able to sponsor the Night Cap celebration which was a great opportunity to gather and toast the Tourism Industry while sharing some laughs and celebrating together.

TAP Dance allowed the Wyoming partners, along with our colleague from Nebraska to share itineraries and ideas for off the beaten path experiences for groups. There was a lot of excitement for incredible history throughout Wyoming, especially the stories that are right along I-80. Several companies have requested follow-up calls and ways to incorporate what was presented into new or current itineraries. The Wyoming Office of Tourism was able to sponsor the Partners lunch where we shared how the “Truth Lies West” and test their knowledge of some of Wyoming’s lesser-known places they can take their groups.
